At Tsukuba Life English, we will soon offer English classes for all ages and

levels - from Parent & Tot, Preschool, Elementary (Beginner & Intermediate) to Adult and Returnee classes. Each class is designed to be fun, interactive, and supportive, helping learners build confidence, practice communication skills, and enjoy learning English in a warm and friendly environment.

All classes are held at the Tsukuba Life Church location, just a 5-minute drive north of Tsukuba station. Parking is available onsite (in parking spots with a green sticker).

Yes, at least one teacher in each class is a native English speaker.

At Tsukuba Life English, we hope to offer classes for all ages, from Parent & Tot, Preschool, Elementary school to Adult. We've just started, so there are fewer classes this Winter 2026 term - but we plan to add more in Spring 2026! Elementary school beginner and intermediate classes will start January 2026. If you're interested in another of our classes, please fill out our Free Trial Application / Class Inquiry and we will get back to you regarding class availability.

No prior English knowledge is needed for our beginner classes. For placement into Intermediate or Returnee classes, please contact us for a free level check (see bottom of Tsukuba Life English Class page)

Ideally, we would only speak English in class but Japanese may be used as needed for explanations, especially in beginner classes.
